What is QATS
After the ORS was enhanced earlier this year, we thought that it would be of extreme benefit to have an application built that would assist in the testing of Blu-ray titles. We knew that software testing methods needed to apply, but something more was needed. More than knowing that Test Cases that were Blu-ray specific needed to be created.
The testing methodologies used by BluFocus for QATS are taken from existing software testing processes that currently exist in the software industry (click here for more information). BluFocus realized that it is these types of software QA processes that are necessary for the accurate testing of Blu-ray titles because as we all know, Blu-ray is not DVD. With the introduction of BD-Java, titles are more complex than ever. BluFocus tailored these software methodologies and incorporated them into QATS for Advanced Blu-ray Testing.
